Other Comments: This product was a gift for my 13 year old son, he wanted a full set of drums to continue learning (he started learning in his band class). Easy to set up & use. Love that he can put headphones on and I don't have to hear the constant tapping. Purchased on this website because the price was half compared to retail.

Other Comments: I'm no drummer but I know what I like. I've been playing guitar professionally for about 35 years (started young...lol). I first bought this to use for rehersal in my cellar and for my home studio. Perfect. Now we use it also for our church choir/band. I conduct a 20 piece group where we mix traditional with contemporary in our Catholic church. Our drummer was a bit skeptical at first but after the first mass he was hooked. What we enjoy most is the ability to adjust the volume so that he is able to play more without feeling he will be too loud. The parshioners said we never sounded better. Gor through a PA and you'll be very surprized at the tone you'll get. So, far no complaints. And, the ability to expand it to a full 5pc set is a bonus.

Pros: Easy hook up, It's Compact, Fast set up, It's inexpensive
Cons: No choke on cymbals, Out of box sounds, Triggers adequate
Other Comments: This is a great middle of the road electronic set to get your sketch beats down and into your computer. The trigger response can be better, you do not have all the elements of a real acoustic set to play with, accept this and focus on what it can do. unless you have an exceptionally fast sound card and computer processor record the drums in basic midi and then edit and reload with your samples to avoid hefty ms drags between your hits and sound production.
