Predator G AG3620-UR318 Desktop PC - Intel Core i7-3770 Processor
(ARAG3620UR318)
Pros: Fast, Incredible Boot Times, Quiet
Cons:
Other Comments: I received a DSLR camera for Christmas and wanted to get into HDR photography. The HDR software needs a lot of horsepower and my old computer just wouldn't cut it. So in doing my research I found this one. I kept coming back to it because the feature to price ratio just can't be beat. The 128gb SDD makes boot times fast and doing my photo manipulation is wonderful - no more hour glass. Although marketed as a gaming PC it has all the specs of a good photo editing PC without the huge price tag. It runs very cool and quiet. My old PC (HP-4300) was incredible loud. Can't say I miss it. The only issue I ran into was the wireless network card would drop. This is not a Acer flaw but rather a flaw of the card itself. Lots of chatter on the net with the same issue from other PC vendors. I believe I resolved it but shortly there after I wired my office with CAT5 so I have since disabled the wireless card. All in all I am very happy with the product and would higly recommend. One piece of tech advise. You need to do two things because of the SSD. You need to ensure that you install software on the 2 gig hard disk. In my case the E: drive. The other thing is you need to redirect all your folders (Documents, Pictures, etc...) to the hard disk as well. If you don't you'll run out of space on the C: drive very quickly.
Yes, I recommend this product
