Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact Design
Cons: Poor Backlight, Difficult To Read
Other Comments: I returned this item. I think it is a good product, but I have had my hands on a lot of them, and after hoping this one would be the one, I finally gave up trying "Kindle-like" models and just bought the Kindle. I am not happy about being limited to [...], but it serves 85 percent of my purposes - so I got a rebuilt one.

Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Lightweight, No page-turn wait, Just as many functions, Compact, Easy Controls, Long Battery Life, 5 in screen
Cons: Still easy to read, LCDscreen less like paper
Other Comments: Although the screen has to be slightly tilted in certain light conditions, it is still very easy to read. Type is clear and dark. Font and font size are adjustable. It comes with 100 good books preloaded. Lots of comparable features, but a much better price.
I like the Aluratek eBook reader. I am very satisfied with my choice.

Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Lightweight, Easy Controls
Cons:
Other Comments: The only minor annoying thing I found was that the epub files have a page number that shows up on the right side of the screen over the text of the ebook, BUT it does handle drm epub ebooks with the current firmware update. Which allows you to purchase your epub ebooks from any ebook store that sells epubs.
The cons: does not handle drm pdb files from ereader.com or fictionwise, and does not handle drm mobi/prc ebooks.
But it does handle non-drm mobi/prc files as well a few other formats.
Overall this is a fantastic ebook reader and I am very happy with the purchase.

Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Easy Controls
Cons: Short Battery Life, Not back lighted
Other Comments: This unit covers more ebook formats than any other. My regional library association has hundreds of free ebooks in the various Adobe, Mobibook and audio formats. I can download, transfer and read non-drm and drm protected books (except for Mobibook) on this reader. It's not backlit, but is not really a major problem. Price is a real value compared to other brands on the market.

Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Long Battery Life, Easy Controls, Durable
Cons:
Other Comments: I like it. I wish the screen was a bit larger (the reason for 4 stars) but the other entry level readers are the same size. I hate ebooks because they tie me to the computer until now. This is a practical solution for me.

Libre eBook Reader Pro with 2GB SD (White) - OPEN BOX
(ARKAEBKW01F)
Pros: Lightweight, Easy Controls
Cons: Bad PDF representation
Other Comments: The Libre seems satisfactory for reading EBooks, but I bought it primarily to read PDF files - datasheets for electronic components. It does not do this properly. Most tables in these datasheets are unreadable, and no zooming makes them readable. Many figures are corrupted in the display. These datasheets all read properly in Adobe or Foxit programs.
