Pros: When I plug it in, the cable has mostly allowed my iPhone to sync, even though an alert pops up saying the equipment is not authorized. The color-changing LEDs at each end are pretty.
Cons: When I plug it in, the cable has more recently started not allowing syncing. It works to deliver a charge when plugged into a power adapter, though. The heavy coiling is a very bad idea; I can't see any circumstances under which you could use the cable stretched out; the spring is so strong it just springs back. So it may be a 3 or 4-foot cable, but for all practical purposes the wire is 16" long.
Other Comments: It's very inexpensive, and perhaps worth that price, but it's not a great bargain.
