Pros: From the outside this is a solid little speaker with an upscale feel and good sounds for the size.
Cons: Poor design of the power jack makes this a device to avoid unless you want top open it up and resolve the design flaw. Corners were cut internally and seriously limit the usefulness of the speaker. The problem was not resolved on refurbished units, so beware.
Other Comments: The Oontz Angle 3 (Cambridge Soundworks) would make a suitable replacement for this unit as it is in the price range not too far from the refurbished Bem unit but has 10 watts of power, two speakers, water resistance and a working power jack.

Pros: Despite only 1.5 watts of power this speaker was suitable for the purpose I had for it. After giving it a full charge I gave it a test and found it to be fine. The touch sensitive buttons for play/pause and volume work as designed, but are almost overly sensitive.
Cons: After the first full charge was used up it would not take a charge again. Perhaps as noted in another review the internal connection broke. If so, that is a very poor design! The jack feels solid still. Now it is now just useless.
Other Comments: Thankfully it was a cheap refurb. Not even worth that. Most likely the power jack is the problem and the refurbs have the same problem as the new. They probably re-soldered the broken power jack and sent it back out knowing the failure would occur again.

Pros: Amazingly good sound from a very small cube. Pairs easily and functions well. I use it with my IPad and Android phone to wirelessly (Bluetooth) play music all day rather then turning on my Denon power hogging surround system.
Cons: Only one potential problem that I fixed after reading advice from another commenter. The USB charging port is not mounted sturdely enough to take frequent insertions of the USB cord. I followed the advice and epoxied the still (I thought the refurb. may have improved the mounting they did not) weakly surface mounted port. If you feel comfortable you can do the same. Take a thin blade an pry up each corner of the rubber base and remove the four Phillips screws under each. Remove the base making note of the position of the power switch as it relates to the base. Carefully remove the small foil covered block of foam from the top of the USB plug. Save this as you will put it back upon reassembly. Mix about a small amount of Quick Acting epoxy and hardener. Cover the USB plug with your mix being sure that it flows to the board and the chassis. Careful not to get any into the plug itself. I manipulated the flow by rotating the the speaker so gravity pulled the lava like epoxy into position. Let that harden. Replace the tin foiled foam block and the base being sure the power switch is positioned correctly. Replace the four screws and you are done. If you do not wish to do the above mod I suggest leaving the short USB cord plugged in to the speaker and removing at the charger. Be careful inserting the cord into the plug. Do it gingerly. A small loop of Velcro can secure the folded cord to the frame. A little unsightly but you will improve the lifespan of your speaker.

Pros: I had wanted a Bluetooth speaker for some time, as I occasionally make presentations using my laptop and the internal speakers are abysmal. This one was small and the price was low enough I decided to take a chance. I initially paired it with my iPhone and played some music thru it. Wow! It had far better sound than I would have expected from a speaker this small. Yes, you can actually hear some base! The other pleasant surprise is that it has an audio output for feeding the audio to a stereo system. So it does double duty as a Bluetooth audio adapter! When I needed to show a video at a business presentation, it had sufficient volume so all could hear the audio clearly in a small conference room, and it is small enough to carry in my computer bag.

Pros: I have purchased four of these speakers to use when listening to audio ebooks on my tablet as well as using one for enhanced audio for my desktop computer. The sound quality is good for their size--quickly charge after the initial charge and last at least six hours of ebook listening. They are perfect for my needs not to mention the great price!

Pros: I must admit I am surprised by the sound that this little speaker produces. You'd think it was produced by BOSE. Easy connect instructions, works great off my laptop and phones. Can use car charger to keep it charged if necessary.
Cons: Can only play one device at a time once connected. Wanted to have this speaker as a satellite speaker for wife, while I was able to listen to music myself in my office, but it does not seem to work that way; requiring a dedicated use/source/speaker. If I were able to listen to music simultaneously, on two devices at the same time, I would have given 5 Stars!
