Pros: High quality
Portable
Fair price for quality/portability
Long battery life
Works seamlessly with the iPhone 5 (haven't tried other devices) - not all DAC's work well with Apple products.
Perfect solution for a fantastic DAC on the go.
Cons: It would be nice if it had a way (or better way) of attaching to the iPhone/device so that it's not dangling around.
Other Comments: First of all, buydig.com fantastic - easy ordering, fast shipping. Couldn't be better. The Beyerdynamic DAC/Amplifier was the missing piece to my audio puzzle. I recently purchased a pair of Shure se846's to use primarily for listening. I wanted an audiophile experience with an earbud design and something rugged/durable. The se846's were it.
I use my iPhone 5 to store most of my music library and the amplifier/dac in the phone is mediocre at best. For the vast majority of folks, it doesn't matter. However for me, I wanted to take my listening experience to the next level.
Enter the a200p. It was the link that made my music come alive. What a difference. It warmed up the midrange and low end wonderfully. I now use Spotify which streams at 320 Kbps instead of iTunes at 256 Kbps or Pandora at 192 Kbps.
There are other DAC's on the market that are slightly more expensive and have a different taste in sound, but the drawback is that it's not as portable as this device.
Take your listening to the next level and get one. But if you do, make sure your audio source is the best it can be (320 Kbps or lossless) and a great pair of headphones/earbuds. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: Wow! This DAC/amplifier is outstanding. I have an iPhone 5 and use it for all of my music. I decided I wanted to invest in a high end pair of headphones. I ended up choosing the Shure se846's. What a dramatic difference in sound quality by just upgrading headphones. I knew these headphones were amazing but they were missing a little something. They needed to realize their full potential. Having done countless hours of research, I knew I had to invest in a better amplifier...the iPhone wasn't cutting it. I narrowed down my choices and decided to go with this product based on my needs and research. I ordered this device yesterday standard free shipping and it showed up at my front door by noon. Not even 24 hours later. (Shipped from NJ and I live in upstate NY). I plugged my phone into the device and headphones in. It was like night and day. I couldn't be happier. I have very discerning ears. It made the music come alive.
Cons: None really. It would be nice if they came up with a better way to secure the device to the phone in case one wanted to.
Other Comments: I was super happy with Buydig's quick shipping and attentiveness. I ordered by 4pm and it was delivered the next day before noon - via standard FREE shipping. Amazing. I live in upstate NY and it shipped from NJ.
