Pros: This item arrived a day ahead of schedule, well packed, and just as promised.The Brunton Ball and Socket mount is an essential piece of equipment for anyone doing serious work with the Brunton Pocket Transit and non-magnetic tripod. The Brunton Ball and Socket mount makes easy work of adjusting the compass to a level position then finding the correct azimuth. The brass mount makes this an easy adaption to any non-magnetic tripod, mono pode, or Jacob's staff which is also equipped with a 1/4 x 20 thread.
