Pros: This is a flat bed scanner that's been used a lot since I bought it about 2 weeks ago. I've been scanning old family snapshots from the 1920s and 30's for hours on end. The pictures are clear and it's easy to use. There are a series of grouped icons on the lower right of your monitor above the time. Just pick one and the item is scanned. Then decide if you want to put it into a photo improvement program like Arcrsoft and file it in one of your folders. It's easy.
Cons: Haven't had a problem. Once in awhile you need to dust the flatbed. Old photos leave dust.
