Excellent little Canon camera!

Pros: The options are good, but what I especially like? The quality of the Macro photos. This little pocket Canon far surpasses my DSLR Canon when it comes to taking macro photos of coins, insects and more from mere millimeters from the object.
I often use this Canon to take photos of newspaper articles and even of pages from books and magazines.
The quality of video is very good, even in the 640 standard mode, tho the 720p mode is even better, but for my purposes? In most scenarios I don't need HD.
This Canon goes with me every day, on duty and off. (Yes...I am a police officer)
Cons: It is not as versatile as my Canon DSLR when taking fast exposure photos, such as used for sports or other fast action.
Other Comments: This little Canon fits easily into my pocket. I carry it with me 24/7. A spare battery is a plus.
