The unit is nice for travel and fits easy on one's hand, the stabilization while not profesional is excellent for most occasions, in all a very handy camera. I stay away from the manual settings and let it do it's thing. It focuses perfectly on it's own and I'm pleased with it's low light resolution. The battery doesn't seem to have much life, but then I don't have anything to compare it to so it's difficult to say (about 20-30 minutes).
