Other Comments: This is a great little radar detector. I have had other detectors, and they haven't come close. They all said they could detect for trains, emergency vehicles, and invisible to a detector, detector. But this one really does do all of these and more. This first night with it I came upon a freight train, and the unit alerted as a train, and while on the interstate it picked up the construction area I came up on well in advance and gave me time to slow for the construction zone. This is one detector you don't want to be without. I highly recommend it to any one who wants not just a detector, but a quality unit they can trust.

Other Comments: I travel 4 days a week for my job. I have used Cobra Radar Detectors exclusively all of my life. My previous Cobra XRS, and I can't remember the 3 digit number; but it worked better than this one. I would still be using it except the speaker died. I am very, very disappointed with this product. The intell-a-mute doesn't work, it alarms you when the ***** is on you... way, way too late!!! The range for this model is very poor! I would like to return it for a different one, a replacement, or a refund on my purchase.

Pros: Good sensitivity, Low false alarms, Easy setup, Like audible warnings, Great band coverage
Cons: Don't like curly cord
Other Comments: The curly power cord tends to pull the detector out of position, no matter how the device is attached. A straight power cord would be much better. Other than that one flaw, the detector performs wonderfully.
