Verified Purchase Review submitted for Celestron Heavy-Duty Altazimuth Tripod (CT93607) Pros: remains stationary and appears adequate for supporting heavy objects for observation and photography. Cons: difficulty in mounting 11 lb telescope.had to remove mounting plate on tripod to attach telescope.a manual should have been included,or at least instructions for installation and use.   Good, sturdy tripod By Peter on August 21, 2014 Review submitted for Celestron Heavy-Duty Altazimuth Tripod (CT93607) Pros: excellent tripod, sturdy, not a problem handling my c90 scope. Vertical azimuth is a bit tight, but should wear in after a bit. Cons: No degree wheels or scales. For an azimuth tripod, assumed that it would have them. But no.
