5 out of 5 stars   Great pan

Review submitted for Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 2-Quart Windsor Pan with Cover - 714-18 (CUI71418)
Pros: This pan is great for reduction sauces and gravies among lots of other things. Good quality material and it comes with a lid. A similar pan from a major brand of cookware costs about 4 times the price of this pan--and that's without a lid!
Cons:
Other Comments: This pan has a thick bottom to prevent scorching. Very easy to clean.
I recommend this product Yes, I recommend this product

Pros: It boils water and heats stuff.
Cons: Because it is nonstick things do stick to the bottom but, maybe that's because I am in too much of a hurry to heat things slower.
Other Comments: I'm not a cook so I don't know what to say about this except that it is a pot and fills my needs for a pot. Price was reasonable and buydig.com was great. No problems with ordering, paying or shipping.

Review submitted for Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 2-Quart Windsor Pan with Cover - 714-18 (CUI71418)
Pros: Satisfactory for a sauce-making pan
Cons: Cheap, light-weight metal construction, narrow base causes pan to tip over on commercial stoves with grates
Other Comments: Priced right up there with All-Clad. You're better off purchasing All-Clad for quality, construction, and weight.

Pros: Cuisinart makes quality cookware. Over the years, I have slowly switched all the cheap pots and pans and replaced them with Cuisinart. This sauce pot is my latest indulgence and addition to cookware that will last a life-time and will surely pass on to our daughters so they don't have to start their life on their own with cheap stuff that needs to be replaced regularly. The riveted handle does not get hot to the touch and the construction of the pot is solid. The tapered bottom makes whisking sauces to the right consistency easy and that is the main purpose of this pot. I truly like this new addition to the collection of a truly functional, and very much in use, professional kitchen.
Cons: None.
