Pros: Attractive Stainless handles look nice in their wood block on counter top.
Cons: I really thought this was a great deal. Name brand company selling stainless steel knives for a wonderful price. Then they arrived. They felt very strange for some reason. After taking the well packed knives out, I was wary of how light they felt. The handles are attractive but the steel is so thin I am certain I will have a few damaged and dented from normal wear and tear soon. Then as I was closely looking over them I noticed that not only were the steak knife handles questionable, but the blades desperately thin as well. I used a caliper to measure the diameter of all the blades in the entire set and they were a uniform 2 mm wide on the unsharpened side of the knife. 2 millimeters is slightly more, 1/64" to be exact, than 1/16 of an inch.
