Pros: The one handed operation makes it easy to use when your other hand is needed to hold a dish or pour in another ingredient. The stainless steel is a great aspect of this blender over the similar plastic ones. The detachable parts make it easy to wash.
Cons: The plastic pieces can obviously break if dropped so be careful with them as you can't replace them easily.
Other Comments: We use this wand all the time. This is our 2nd of the stainless wands as the first got put in a hot burner and the plastic parts melted. We use this to make applesauce, jams, eggnog, and just about anything else that needs mixed.
