SensorScope, 5x Digital SLR Sensor Viewer with Case
(DLKDDSSSINGLE)
Pros: Compact, Lightweight
Cons: Mediocre visibility, No ability to focus
Other Comments: I bought this viewer after seeing a similar device at a high end camera store nearby. Since I was unable to find the exact model I sampled in the store, I bought the nearest model I could find with the same function.
Unfortunately, the Belkin is barely functional. Instead of having a ring of led lights around the scope like the device in the store, there is only a single light. This causes shadows and uneven lighting on the sensor. In addition, the focus of the Belkin is fixed at a point which barely brings the sensor on my Canon Rebel Xti into view. The device I sampled in the store made the sensor crystal clear.
Overall, I'd rate this device as poor but necessary. I'd love to locate a source for the other device. I need to return to the store to properly identify it.
