Pros: Scans all kinds of media, paper documents, photo prints and color slides.
Output is excellent, exceeds expectations.
Reasonably fast.
Good quality.
Good value.
Cons: Adapters/masks and transparency back light cover are loose separate plastic pieces with no where to store them.
Other Comments: Have about 1000+ color slides and boxes of color prints from family members. Many are 40+ years old. Bought this to scan the slides and prints and also to replace my older slow HP scanner which won't do slides and HP doesn't provide drivers for newer O/S. Very happy with the Canon. The quality of the output from the old slides is amazing. Using the included software and also Adobe Lightroom. Would highly recommend the Canoscan 9000F Mark II.
