Pros: Easy to use, takes great underwater pics and movies, best value for dollar if you 're looking for a reasonable camera to use mostly at the beach, pool, snorkeling, boating, whitewater rafting, water parks, etc.
It is not a good choice for scuba divers, nor as a primary all-purpose camera. Camera buffs who have more demanding need for high end features and performance may not be satisfied with the features on this camera.. I own a high end Nikon with all the toys, but I sure don't like taking it out in the rain or around the pool where there's a lot of splashing.
But for the average person going on vacation who wants a easy to use camera for water activities, I recommend this camera. Be sure to purchase a floating wrist strap to keep the camera afloat should you drop it. Also buy the largest capacity SD card that you can if you play to use the video recording features.
