  Just what I wanted! By Rick on May 30, 2016 Review submitted for Nikon COOLPIX L840 16MP Digital Camera with 38x Zoom VR Lens - Red Refurbished Bundle (E1NKCPL840RRB) Pros: Takes great pictures right out of the box. Very easy to take sharp macro photos. Uses AA batteries. Very good price for the kit. Extra long telephoto lens and usable digital zoom. Adjustable monitor. Image stabilization works very well even at extreme telephoto settings. Cons: Can't see the monitor when wearing sunglasses. Can't set f stop or shutter speed but it does have a bunch of different shooting modes. Other Comments: A somewhat basic point and shoot camera that takes great photos. If you don't usually fool around setting f stops and shutter speeds this is the camera you want. Can't see any difference between this and a brand new camera.   Great camera By Rick on May 23, 2016 Review submitted for Nikon COOLPIX L840 16MP Digital Camera with 38x Zoom VR Lens - Red Refurbished Bundle (E1NKCPL840RRB) Pros: Long lens. Light weight. Excellent image stabilization. Easy to operate. Takes AA batteries. Takes very sharp, clear pictures. Cons: Can't see monitor at all when wearing sunglasses outside. Have to raise the flash manually. Other Comments: I have owned Canon cameras for 40 years, both SLR's and compact point and shoot. I thought they were great until I got this Nikon.
