Verified Purchase Review submitted for Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike with Razor Full Face Helmet (E1RZR15165070) Pros: Cons: Other Comments: Competitive pricing - especially with the helmet bundle and free shipping. no option for fast shipping so my son had to wait for a week after we ordered it (not that a week is that long but he was so excited to get it here for his birthday). FEDEX was the bummer in the process. they waited until the day of delivery (7 days after it started its trek across he states from NJ to CA) to our home to decide that the package was too damaged and so they had to send it back to BuyDig. tried to get them to two-day a replacement so it would be here in time or his Birthday (party) but no luck. had to order another one that got here late last week and then get refunded on the first one after it made it back to BuyDig. it was easy to put the bike together. charged it for the 18 hours as recommended. My son (11, 107lbs) loves it. just like riding a motorcylce but without the noise. seems very stoutly built. did notice that the wheels are not very true so I will have to adjust the spokes. Had lots of fun riding over the last couple days (just got it two days ago). one thing that did happen was that after riding it around in our alley (dirt road - perfect spot for it) and it got a little wet (post rain), he turned it off to clean the bike off a bit and then it wouldn't operate when turned back on. was out of commission for 10 hours. took the bike apart (not easy to get to the fuses) to check the fuses and for loose wires, etc. could tell there was power to the control module but it would just click. best I could speculate was that since the module got wet, it shut down until it sufficiently dried off. The Razor works again but we'll see how it holds up. its a very cool toy, made for outdoor, off road use per the marketing material. hope we find it to be dependable and not frustrating. by the way - the guys at BuyDig were great. tried their hardest to get us the replacement bike as quick as possible Yes, I recommend this product Was this review helpful?     |     Report this review

He had the M350 which was durable. However,it was very small and he quickly outgrew it. The 650 is sturdy and well made. It would be nice if it was geared a little faster (20-25 mph), had head & tailights, and was a little taller. Otherwise, it's a nice bike for the money.
