Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W370 14MP Red Digital Camera with 4GB Card, Case, and More (E1SNDSCW370R)
Pros: Sleek, Easy use, Big display screen, Light Weight
Cons: short baterry life, Slow Shutter
Other Comments: overall the camera does what it supposed to do. take pics and mediocre vids. there's not a lot of modes ie; black and white and all those other fancy shots most other cameras have. but it has a few for say fireworks and food selections. just minimal. another annoying thing is the shutter speed, takes about a second(if not a little bit more) for a pic to be taken as you press the button. and the battery life, after about a hour or so of fiddling with it, taking short movies, taking some pics, a full charged battery drops to about half bars. i also dislike how you can't choose macro shots on your own etc. the movies while visual quality is to my liking, sounds are kinda muffled, loud music gets that bass muffed sounds more so than my older cameras, and wind noise seemed more significant when the day wasn't even that windy. that's about all the cons i can think of. onto the pros... image quality for a sub 160$ camera, is superb, it's not like you bought a slr, you pay for what you get. movie quality also great, and love the fact it does up to 720P. the sweep panorama mode, is easy, just hit the button hold, and move camera from left to right, up down whatever u choose. and one. a lot better than some "stitching" cams. the intelli shot mode, while i prefer a little bit more control on my shots, helps you choose the best modes itself. like if you are in a dark area, it'll default to night mode shots, or if you take a close up pick, itll auto choose macro shots, etc. and the 7x optical zoom, is nice on a cheaper priced camera also. and it fits comfortably in your jean pockets if you bring it on the go. a little shorter than the ipod/iphone, with a tad bit more thicker. overall im pretty satisfied and would recommend this camera if you are a type of person to just use it sparingly and nothing too serious... like just bringing it out amongst friends to snap a pic here and there. and also if you are the type to just post on sites like fb/twitter etc. so basically the casual user. the price is just right.
