Pros: Excellent recording quality. Small. Capable of using GoPro mounts. Overall winner. Great price point for the quality you get. Excels on many hardware features.
Cons: The video image can be flatter. It has the typical walleye vision but it's quite exaggerated along the perimeter of the screen view - it's not horrible but noticeably more warped than other cameras. I own a ContourHD and it isn't as exaggerated.
Other Comments: You can get lots of extras for this camera, especially 3rd party mounts and hardware. I use this camera mainly on fishing trips and recording my morning walks with our dog. For the price point, it's an outstanding deal considering what kind of recording quality you get versus what you pay. I didn't want to spend $400-500 for a GoPro so this camera came as a great alternative.
I bought this camera as an upgrade to my ContourHD, the 2010 model.
The video example doesn't do the camera justice. Remember it's Youtube and when you upload to their site, they compress the video to make it more user friendly for viewers to download. A good amount of video quality was lost, even at the 1080p setting for Youtube; the colors were washed out a little and the brightness got exaggerated.
