I took a couple dozen pictures in my basement, at night, using only the available low watt light bulbs for lighting (no flash). All but a couple of the images came out very clear, with no focus or visible image movement problems. When I used the flash the images didn't look washed out from too much light. The manual has very little information. It identifies the physical features of the camera and how to download information from the CD (32 pages in English and 32 pages in Spanish). There's no explanation of how to operate the camera -- that's left to the manual on the CD. It would probably have been more cost effective to put the download information on one folded-up regular sheet of paper, left the physical features off since it's in the downloadable manual, and saved the expense of making the little book.
