The Lumix FZ1000 Is Quite The Camera, BuyDig Bundle Is A Good Deal.

Pros: I opted for the Lumix FZ1000 when my 3 week old Sony a77 mk II decided to lose 989 pictures I had taken, in one day, at a music festival! So to go from that to the Lumix was a $1,000 downgrade. But, I have been pleasantly surprised with the FZ1000. Of course I had done a lot of research before I got it, but I did NOT expect it to be as competent as it is. For the money it is impossible to beat. Picture quality can be out of this world.
Cons: Camera: It can be the MOST infuriating camera, ever. Menus are hard to navigate UNTIL you have spent 'hours', sitting down, getting to know them. Things like setting the AF area is not as intuitive as you like. But it can all be done with time and patience.
BuyDig Bundle: The price for the bundle, the day I ordered it, was the same as for JUST the camera at Amazon (where I am a Prime member as well as a shareholder). So it was a no-brainer. The camera bag is a JOKE! Too small. I promptly gave it to my daughter to use with her American Girl Doll accessories. I had a proper bag from the Sony. The rest was OK. I, by habit ordered a Wasabi charger with two batteries. I put the charger that came with the bundle in the car. So I have all bases covered. One charger at home, permanently, the Wasabi in the camera bag and the BuyDig in the car.,
Other Comments: BuyDig is easy to deal with! That is why I had no qualms ordering from them rather than Amazon.
