I love my current camera, a Lumix, but it was just not able to give me clear pics in this category. I must say we have not used it much, except for the purpose we bought it for, but the macro and super macro pictures are outstanding. The macro focuses almost every time, and I love the easy white balance feature. The image stabilization seems to work great also. The features are easy to use, very similar to my current camera. One other note which could be a non-issue to most, is the Lumix has a really great hand hold type handle that was really easy to grasp and not in the way of any buttons, that made it really easy to take one-handed pics and swing it every which way without any trouble, this Olympus is your standard thinner squarer camera with not much room to grasp. This cameras pics also download faster on my computer without the Olympus software. One final note, we received a free SDcard adapter with this package that did not fit the camera. [...] I finally found out that the correct adapter was located in the package with the camera's manual. It is yellow and unmarked. It worked like a charm once I located it!
