Other Comments: It's DSLR quality in an almost point and shoot sized body. You'll either love or hate the innovative interface. I love it.
The Intelligent Auto mode is fantastic and much better than I thought it would be. I'm surprised it works so well. It chooses proper exposure settings for all kinds of situations, even night shots and backlighting. Manual settings are just an easy click away but it's nice to have the iAuto too.
The kit lenses are pretty good for the price. It's a much better deal to buy them both as a combo than to buy either one after the fact. If you had to get just one though, get the 18-55 zoom. The size is larger but it's the more versatile of the two lenses.
The great thing about the NEX cameras is that with adapters you can use just about any lens on this camera. That's a big positive in my book. I'm looking forward to trying some of my old Nikon lenses on it.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the non-Sony lenses are going function with manual focus instead of auto focus. This won't matter to you if you stick with the E-mount lenses.
