It would take some highly sophisticated instruments to detect any difference between photos taken with this lens and a Nikon lens, if there actually is a difference that I cannot see. The obvious difference is the price and if you don't mind spending a fraction of the money for an equal quality lens, this is the one for you. Cons: You may be in for some extensive trial and error if you don't read the instructions that come with it. Other Comments: I only regret that I can't give this lens a couple more stars. Attached are photos taken this lens, hand held. They were taken through a double pane window with consequent reflections that reduce overall quality of the photos. Outdoors this lens is great for wildlife pics. Can't say anything about how BuyDig handles problems, because I didn't have any problems. Lens came in good shape and a little ahead of schedule.
