Pros: Quick Focus, Great bokeh, Wide aperture, decent build, includes case, "Normal" focal length, Includes hood
Cons: Soft focus when wide open
Other Comments: I purchased the lens as a low light lens to avoid using a flash indoors when taking pictures of the kids. Being a non-Canon lens, it focuses a lot quicker than I expected. It does soft-focus when wide open, but there are not a whole lot of options without making compromises in aperture, focal length and/or price point. The soft-focus is not bad, but is noticeable in post when compared to shots closed down a stop or two. The lens includes a hood and a case, and the build is solid. I would definitely recommend this lens for others needing a lens for similar use.
