Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Camera (SG70200SEOS)
Pros: I read countless reviews on this lens and its competitors. My experience with this one has been great. I'm sure the Canon is awesome too but this will keep me happy.
Cons: Wish it came in a different color, like Thunder Blue.

5 out of 5 stars   Works great on my 60D

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Camera (SG70200SEOS)
Pros: Rugged, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction, Nice Bokeh, Durable, Consistent Output
Cons:
Other Comments: I have this len for a week now and I'm very pleased with the results. It is extremly sharp at f4 and AF is very very fast. This is my first Sigma so I had some concerns but it works perfectly on my 60D. Also, many reviews complained about the weight. It is not a feather but not a rock either. Very easy to move around with. OS is effectivly ~2 stops and you can clearly hear when it locks which helps me to understand when I can fully press the shutter. Awesome value.

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Camera (SG70200SEOS)
Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction, Rugged, Consistent Output
Cons: Heavy
Other Comments: Lens is a little heavy, but better that cheap, light weight plastic. Lens is used mostly for shooting indoor concerts & sporting events and seems to fast focus very well.

4 out of 5 stars   Good Lens at Excellent Price

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Nikon DSLR Camera (SG70200SNA)
Pros: Cost, Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction
Cons: Heavy, A little soft
Other Comments: I purchased this camera because of the quality of the other Sigma lenses I own and price. I needed a zoom lens that had fast glass (f2.8), great zoom range, I wanted VR reduction, and was affordable. I've used the lens for photographing football games from the sidelines and portrait photography. In both cases, the lens work as expected. The f2.8 across the zoom range lets you zoom in and stop the action, even with cloudy moderately lit conditions. However, at full zoom, 200mm, the pictures are soft. You can remedy this in Photoshop. At 70-120mm the images are sharp, with increased softening at higher ranges.

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Nikon DSLRs - Pro Lens Kit (E5SG70200SNA)
Pros: Quiet Focus, Optical Stablization, Fast Focus, Quality construction, Tack sharp
Cons: Reversed zoom vs Nikon, Not weather sealed
Other Comments: I have to say that I didn't expect the lens to be as good as it is. It is half the price of a VRII so I expected a good lens but not a great lens. I shoot wildlife and I have taken some of the best pictures ever with this lens. The lens is tack sharp, great colors, fast focusing and quiet perfect for what I do. I thought long and hard about what lens to get. After finally talking to a wedding photographer who used to own the VRI and now owns the VRII and frequently shoots with the Sigma (on his coworkers camera). He was of the opinion that the Sigma 70-200mm HSM OS, overall is a better lens than the VRI but not as good as the VRII. Those words were enough for me to try it and I'm very pleased! The picture below is not perfect in anyway and it is edited in Lightroom to make it pop even more. The Picture was taken when I wasn't ready to take the shot. The bird jumped out of a tree and I had to aim focus and take the picture. That is a pretty fast focusing lens in my opinion :-) I absolutely love this lens!

5 out of 5 stars   Outstanding lens, outstanding value

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Nikon DSLR Camera (SG70200SNA)
Pros: Consistent Output, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Durable, Strong Construction, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Cons: Heavy
Other Comments: Outstanding picture quality. Super sharp, fast focus, good OS, beautiful bokeh. I've had this for a couple of weeks and have shot several hundred stills plus some video on a D300s. The reviews state the Nikon VR2 is better. I'm sure in the lab you could tell the difference but I've used both and in real life I can't see any difference. This is saying something as the Nikon is awesome but for half the price, the Sigma wins.

Review submitted for Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS FLD Zoom Lens for Canon DSLR Camera (SG70200SEOS)
Pros: Quality of build, price, Weight
Cons: DOF Scale not even close
Other Comments: Now that I own this lens I don't know how I ever got along without it. The price drop was the deciding factor. I was saving up to get one when I realized I had enough. I may never remove it from my 50D.
