Pros: Easy to use. Great pictures whether on auto ot one of the manual settings. Guide is very helpful, just press the button (great when you're not near the manual!). The 2 lenses are easy to mount and give a wide range of focus. Battery is long lasting, charges quickly.
Cons: Haven't found any.
Other Comments: Ordered the camera & 5 days later was using it. Beach Camera fulfills orders promptly; never had a problem with them. Highly recommend them.

I want one I can adjust settings if needed & take the best possible picture My Way. This camera will do that & though I was looking at the Niklon D7000 we can't afford that at this time & this D3100 is Recommended highly by Ken Rockwell who Reviews cameras, lenses, flashes, etc. for full time. This price fit our budget & gives me a camera I can learn on & use until I can upgrade.

Other Comments: Has a natural fit to the hand; you don't need to grope around for most feature changes. Camera body feels solid, but it's surprisingly light. The lenses are crisp, but heavy by comparison. Autofocus takes a bit to lock in.
