Great lens, very good camera

Pros: 55mm 1.8 excellent lens and small, too
Reasonably small camera
Amazing resolution
Surprising fast, accurate focus
Lots of customizable buttons and dials
Good build quality
Great oled viewfinder
Cons: Loud for a MILC
Shutter vibrates camera
Doesn't fit large hands well
Poor lens selection
Can be difficult to focus (no full time manual?) Occasional hunting
Other Comments: Overall a very good camera package, close to 5 stars, but camera has some quirks. Pictures can be amazing. Resolution is excellent, and will show any failure of technique. Best suited for pro photographers who understand the limitations and have a lot of good glass already which can be adapted for the camera. You can use any E-mount lens (for a crop sensor), but most will vignette if used in full frame mode, but it won't harm anything and just require some extra cropping.
Ergonomics are only okay, but highly based on the individual. As a pro, it does not feel like a glove to me and I'm always aware of it in my hand. The controls feel clunky and I wouldn't dare adjusting without visual confirmation. For reference, the 5d3 does fit my hands well, but I didn't ding the review score for that.
The shutter "shudders" because it has to close the shutter, then open/close it for the shot. Thus, long lenses will probably have motion blur if using slower speeds. Technique becomes very important, especially since the great resolution will reveal poor handling. It does not make a good point and shoot, but in the right hands, may open new doors for experienced photographers.
Viewfinder is really good, non-laggy, functional, and probably the best I've ever seen. Horizon line, detail, brightness, and all needed info is there. Rear display is satisfactory and functional.
Battery life is satisfactory. Package's 3rd party batteries are chipped and give feedback (a bonus, so camera can tell the charge). Charges fast from empty.
