4 out of 5 stars   Good point and shoot camera
November 18, 2014
Review submitted for Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M II Cyber-shot 20.2MP Digital Camera - Black OPEN BOX (SNDSCRX100M2BOB)
Pros: Compact, image quality, focus speed
Cons: mediocre glass, kind of soft on the tele side.
Other Comments: if you can get this camera for <$450, go for it. The RX100III has better glass but it's not worth the money in my opinion.

5 out of 5 stars   Great product and Buydig service!
By Rick on May 01, 2014
Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II 20.2 MP Digital Camera - Black (SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros: When my Canon S100 camera screen broke, I needed a replacement. After researching the market for a point and shoot replacement, I decided on the Sony RX100 II Cyber-shot. The camera is only slightly larger than the Canon S100 and takes outstanding, sharp pictures with accurate color. The camera fits into the same case I wear on my belt, so on trips it is always available when I need it. A great supplement to my heavy SLR gear and various lens combos which I still use for sports or safari photography. In most common shooting situations, the Sony RX100 ll rivals the picture quality of my much more expensive Canon SLR camera and len's.
Cons:
Other Comments: I have purchased camera equipment through Buydig before and have had excellent experience with this company. Their prices are very competitive, shipping is fast and they do not play games like some other discount companies; offer item at really low price and then claim the item is back ordered or discontinued. On my recent Sony RX100 ll purchase, Buydig included a 64GB high speed disk and camera case with the order. I did not realize these items (value of $70 to $80) were included in their already great price and free shipping. Way to go Buydig!

5 out of 5 stars   Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M II
By Barb the Photographer on April 29, 2014
Review submitted for Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M II Cyber-shot 20.2MP Digital Camera + 64GB SDXC Kit (Black) (E4SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros: So far been very happy with my photos Am still working on learning everything about it and how to use the features. It's performed and given me great shots so far--will be perfect for our trip overseas this summer. I wanted a high performance camera in a small package and I think I have found it.
Cons: Wish it came with the full manual instead of having to print it out. But that's the case with many (if not most) electronics now-a-days. Not sure if the camera defaults to the largest f stop (1.8) and then pairs it with the shutter speed in auto mode--haven't looked that up in the camera manual yet.

5 out of 5 stars   Best compact point and shoot!
By Ladylia on March 21, 2014
Review submitted for Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M II Cyber-shot 20.2MP Digital Camera + 64GB SDXC Kit (Black) (E4SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros: compact, beautiful pictures
Cons: delicate, expensive
Other Comments: I'm not a professional by any means and don't like having to fiddle with the "right" settings just to get a great picture, especially during times when you only get one shot at a good picture... BUT I like having the option of controlling shutter and aperture when I feel like it. Initially, I wanted to return this camera because I couldn't stomach the price and because it was a little difficult navigating the menu system. But after a couple of days, and also after playing with the Lumix Lx7 (which didn't feel and look as sleek), I decided I could not let go of how amazing the camera made pictures look. Images were sharp, even on the LCD screen, and skin tones were very flattering. On top of it all, I LOVE the built in wifi and NFC capabilities since I have an Android phone. Transferring photos to my phone has never been easier. Definitely recommend this camera!

4 out of 5 stars   Good camera for everyday use

Review submitted for Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100M II Cyber-shot 20.2MP Digital Camera + 64GB SDXC Kit (Black) (E4SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros: Lightweight, Quiet, Quick AF, Usable In Low Light, Great videos, Good battery life, quick performance, Adjustable Flash
Cons: Too Thick For Pocket, No viewfinder, Bright Af Illumination, Slippery grip, Not Usable For Macro, 20 Mp Seems 2 Much For It
Other Comments: Almost replaced my DSLR in everyday usage for occasional photos and videos of family. Really impressed with its video quality and quick performance. This camera fulfilled my expectations. On the cons side is lack of control for macro photos: camera tends to focus on different object than you want to shot. Also I was not able to connect it by wi-fi to my TV (LG 50PM970T), may be I need to spend more time on how to do this.

Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II 20.2 MP Digital Camera - Black (SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros:
Cons:
Other Comments: Some users may need the add-on view finder but many will not. Display is bright enough to use in sunlight. I'm just a bit worried about the battery/memory card door. It seems a little fragile and can easily be left open. It would be better if it automatically locked when closing rather than having to slide it closed.

5 out of 5 stars   The best pocketable camera today
By Richard on October 02, 2013
Verified Purchase
Review submitted for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II 20.2 MP Digital Camera - Black (SNDSCRX100M2B)
Pros: Relative Hq, Well Made, Can Shoot Manual, Pocketable
Cons:
Other Comments: When I don't want to carry my DSLR, I can put this in a pocket or on my belt and still get a relatively good photo (HQ). It has some good special features like NFC, vibration reduction, panorama. Shooting manual is pretty easy in that you don't need the menu. You can get a small live view histogram. Focus sometimes does a little hunting but generally it is good.
