Other Comments: I compared this Frigidaire coffeemaker to Cuisinart DCC-2600 Brew Central, another highly rated coffeemaker online. I did not find DCC-2600 to produce better tasting coffee than my old $15 dollar coffeemaker. Not only does Frigidaire FPDC12D7MS look higher-end, it also makes better, hotter and tastier coffee, hands down. I thought I spent more than I would like on a coffeemaker, but now I think the coffeemaker is worth every penny. Even my wife, who usually is not that picky on coffee, noticed that the coffee is tastier. Now I truly look forward to the weekends when I can take my time, grind the beans and enjoy my gourmet coffee.
