Pros: Functional in that it provides power to the unit.
Cons: Does not have a switched wire so it does not turn off automatically when the ignition switch is turned off. The wires are cheap thin. The overall build and quality of the unit is not designed to withstand the elements on a motorcycle. Disappointed with quality of product.
