Pros: Does what it's supposed to. Voice prompts and screen clear. Good trip data display.
Cons: Some features hard to find, even after reading user manual.
On first use, with an already known route, some turn instructions came too late to make the turn safely. E.g., take exit ramp on right when almost completely past the ramp entrance. It wasn't a problem this time, but could be with an unknown route.
Didn't communicate with Garmin's BaseCamp app correctly and the fix was buried in an documented settings. Emails with Garmin about the problem got only throwaway advice. It took a phone call to Garmin to get to the correct settings menu and fix the comms problem.
Other Comments: Garmin's BaseCamp route planning app is neat and useful, but once a route is loaded into the device the instructions are less than clear. E.g., planned a route using route numbers, but instructions used only street names for directions, and using maps with street names in BaseCamp is too cluttered and unclear.
