Other Comments: Pros: faster, relative accurate, and free map update, fit budget Cons: Only the synthesized voice - Jill, can do text-to-speech, which sounds very weird. Traffic update is only for freeways and not in time. The internal memory is about 3.6G. I updated map only once and I am running out of storage. I don't think newer/bigger map will be even loadable to this device.

Other Comments: This unit replaces an older Garmin model 1350lt. The new guy routes much faster and finds POIs easily. The routes have been accurate so far and the lane assist is awesome. Refurbished product arrived looking new with new cords and mount. Only con in the on screen keyboard is small and seems a little off making it hard to enter addresses. Only an issue if you are in a hurry.

Other Comments: I bought my first Garmin about 5 years ago. It was the first in the Nuvi line; the 350. A few days after I bought it I was driving to a new destination in a near white-out snow storm here in Denver. I navigated to my destination without having to stop, roll down the window, and peer through the snow to see street signs. I could barely see the road, much less the road signs, yet I knew exactly where I was! That's when I realized this was going to be an indispensable tool. This device improves on the Nuvi 350 in every possible way. It has a host of features and improvements over the old Nuvi but the ones most important to me are listed below. 1. The old Nuvi didn't have lane assist; this one does; 2. The Old Nuvi had no graphical indication of the direction of the next turn until you were almost on it. This one ALWAYS shows the direction of the next turn! 3. The old Nuvi required expensive ($75 to $90) annual map updates; this one has lifetime free map update. No doubt, I have Google and Android to thank for that. It was very easy to transfer all my saved locations from the old to the new. What's not to like?
