Worked great on a run from NY to Wisconsin, longest battery life of the nuvi line and its waterproof! I used the RAM mounting system and cradle for secure attachment to the bike. Verified Purchase Review submitted for Garmin nuvi 550 Personal Travel Assistant (GRNUVI550) Pros: Easy Menus, Simple Controls, Acquires Satellites Quickly, Easy To Read, Easy To Set Up, Compact Cons: Slow to announce turn off Other Comments: Had a business trip in Los Angeles. Always read the name of the exit/street. The voice may not announce it in time to merge/change lanes.
