Pros: Ear Pads. Cons: Cable & Headband quality

Pros: The ear pads are great. They are very comfortable on your head and ears. They dont cover my complete ear, but at least I dont feel any discomfort. The sound is "almost" neutral, a little metallic, but I am not saying is good for metal music. Its sound just doesn't feel natural. Not on the set I received anyways.
Cons: Cable is too stiff, its hard and it gets in the way. IMHO, the headband is not on par with the type of headphone quality Hifiman tried to build. There is a 2mm gap between the top end of the plastic arm that holds the Left phone and the plastic cap thats on the bottom end of the metal band. Its lose and it doesnt feel right. The "R" (right) side is tight, no problem. I can't blame QC since it was fine when I received the unit. It made a crack noise when I was wearing it, then saw the problem. There is no way to screw it or tight it. I haven't tried to fix it either. It doesn't look cracked or broken. I dont know. I can't say its broken, because its not.
Other Comments: Bought these cans thinking it was top quality. I trusted many reviews from Hifi forums, but I dont think these are the "top" or the best. Oh well, I guess its my luck.
I know there is a warranty, but I dont want to end up with a "refurbished" one that probably had a worse defect/malfunction and wont last long before it breaks again.
I tried to get a photo, but it came out too dark to notice anything. It just a 2mm gap, thats only noticeable from very close inspection, but I dont think its right.

Pros: Its not a neutral headphone which is a plus in my book, it has bass, but its not for bass heads. Its treble is just right and its not sibilant. It has a cool sound comparable with the sennheiser hd650, but IMHO a little better. It can be driven by my iphone 6s plus without an amp, but with an amp it really shines.
Cons: The headband is about to break. The Left can's arm or wishbone is about to come lose from the metal bar of the headband. I dont know if it is the pin's housing or the pin itself that is too lose. The right side is fine and firm and there is no gap between its wishbone arm and the metal band. You can't even see the pin on the right side.
Other Comments: It would had been a great buy if it wasn't for the above mentioned con. Oh well, I took for granted many reviews that said sound great, blah, blah, build quality excellent... yeah right! I will not return it just to remind myself to never trust other people's reviews.
