Pros: Works with both Firewire 800 and USB 3.0. Easy to format and use for Windows. High quality build with metal case. Much faster than USB 2.0.
Cons: I did have to install a USB 3.0 card because my PC had USB 2.0 generation only. Found the Sonnet Tango 3.0 card which has both Firewire 800 and USB 3.0 ports on it. Installed with no problem. A great combo with the drive.
Other Comments: Given the quality of this drive, it would be nice to have a 7200 RPM drive rather than a 5400 RPM drive, but drive is still very fast.
