Other Comments: This computer never ran long enough to determine anything about it. It failed on initial setup and would not run much longer that a few minutes before sending the blue screen of death. It kept telling me that there was no power to the monitor.HP tech support was useless and took me through hours of try this and try that. I told them that Ijust had an operation and was not supposed to lift anything heavier than 10 pounds or stretch or pull on my incision. They insisted that I I get on the floor disconnect and reconnect the computer, pull the side cover off and check the seating of all boards and connections.Then sent me a replacement board which they asked me to install. I installed the board and the computer responded as before inoperative.I called the HP tech service dept. (I believe the third time) and they again requested I go through the same procedures we had already performed a number of times previously. I told them again that I had just been operated on and they insisted that I perform their so far useless check out procedures even though I told them I was 77 years old. They then asked if anyone in the household could do what they were asking of me. I said no my wife is 71 years old and would you ask your 71 year old mother to crawl around on the floor, the answer was no.I refused to go along with more hours of this nonsense and said I wish the computer replaced which was a definate no. I said then I wished it repaired. The tech said he would have to check with his manager and put me on hold coming back to me periodically to tell me he was still checking and not to hang up. This went on for a long long time.Finally the tech got back on the line to tell me his manager had agreed to my sending the computer back for repair.[...]I have all HP compter products in my home and I am using an HP computer to respond to this survey. I am extremely disappointed in the HP response to their defective product and lack of sensibility re my condition, and the fact that this was a gift to my wife which she is still waiting for.
