Even the color of the carpet looks like it did when it was new. The suction is incredible. It may be a little louder than most vacuums, but it's not too bad. I used this vacuum until it would no longer stand upright nor cut off with a switch. Nothing is safe when I vacuum, anything goes. I read many reviews before purchasing this vacuum. This new version works just as well even though not self propeled. However, I do miss the long suction hose of my old Windtunnel. I had read that the parts were interchangeable, but they are not.
