Cons: Harder to empty than some
Other Comments: I would have given it a five star rating except for the design to empty the waste bin. There is a "trap door" in the bottom to empty the bin. My old unit had a bin that was open on the top and you just poured it out. Even with this limitation, I would buy this unit again since it does such a great job.

Other Comments: I got my vac and it was very simple to put together. You just need a screwdriver. We have short carpeting so I put it on the highest floor height same as for bare floors. I couldn't believe how much dirt it sucked up. Best vacuum we've had in the 22 years we live in our home. I had read some cons about dumping the dirt from the canister but they are wrong. Just hold it in the garbage can and open the door. Very simple. Great Vac.
