The installation was a breeze. The system sounds great with all media devises. I was able to connect via Bluetooth my desktop, laptop and tablet devises without any difficulty. The sound quality was outstanding. Although I have been accused of a having a tin ear so take my comments with a grain of salt. Cons: My con is not based on the system but where my television legs ended up verses the length of the system. Other Comments: Great sound system. Plug in the power cord and turn it on. Plug the optical plug into the bar (until it snaps in place), then plug the other side into the TV. Voila! You're done and ready to watch a movie! This sound bar sounds great and the bass that the sub provides is excellent. Watching action flicks will never be the same. Cons: This is NOT surround sound!! I knew that going into this, but I wasn't necessarily looking for surround sound when I bought it. This is mainly an amplifier with a really nice sounding subwoofer that puts out good, deep bass. It only has 2 channels, but they are too close together to really give you a "surrounded" feeling. The fact that I have to go through my TV menu to select external speakers is no the most intuitive. If I didn't select external in my TV menu, it would still put sound out of the sound bar, but it is delayed. We have to mute the sound bar if we don't want to use it. Other Comments: This was an excellent buy for what I wanted. I wasn't looking for a true surround sound experience, but rather a good simulated surround sound with some good sound amplification and really nice bass. It replaced a Boston Acoustics sound bar and is far superior. Even without a subwoofer, the base is deep enough for my purposes. The sound is crystal clear for special effects as well as dialog. I no longer have to watch subtitles to make up for lack of sound quality like I had to with the previous sound bar. The display is very basic, with indicator lights instead of graphic displays, but that is not a problem for me. The remote control synched up easily with my TV remote. Very sturdy construction and product exceeded expectation. Exceptional on-line ordering service. Product arrived within 3 days of ordering and well packaged with no damage. This system will fill any room with an abundance of rich sound, but don't expect exception bass. No distortion of sound, and only tried it once with music. Bluetooth is very to set up also for those who have a need to sync with a device.System also powers itself off once the TV is turned off. Nice feature. Cons: Remote control is a bit larger than a credit card, and I found the programming phase of the unit a bit misleading according to the instructions which were poorly written in my opinion. So it did take a few days to figure out how to program the unit to my TV remote controller. Instructions indicate one color light to enter programming, and that color was wrong. For me it was a white light and not the red. With patience you'll figure it out. Also to note as stated, there is no visible display on box or TV as to the volume levels that are set. Not a big deal. I replaced my Bose 200 due to the weak sound and the Klipsch does the trick. I would recommend anyone trying the Klipsch HD Theater SB120 Sound System, and they will be amazed with the quality of sound. Cons: Have not tried out the Bluetooth. Speaker distorts at high volumes which is also surprising. considering the MSRP of nearly $400 and the Klipsh brand name, this speaker was a disappointment and doesn't delivery the sound quality I was expecting nor is it comparable to its peer group at this price point.
