Review submitted for Klipsch Image S5i Headphone (KLPSIMAGES5I)
Pros: Clear Sound
Cons: Heavy, Poor Design
Other Comments: I use this with my Sansa Fuze MP3 Player & also have very few times with my Droid 4. The S5i does have a long cord. I dont know how durable it is, I have only used it a few months now. My last set of ear buds were klipsch S4 & they stopped working just under 6 months time so I am giving the S5i a chance since they are suppose to be the most durable in the Image line. The reason Klipsch won't warranty my S4 is I found out the orignal dealer I bought them through is not considered an authorized dealer of Klipsch so I am out the money even though the product is registered with Klipsch & I have the original order form & receipts. This made me quite disappointed for the [$] I paid for them. So I had to do my homework to make sure this time that the dealer of my S5i were an authorized dealer. The S5i set is even more expensive. They come with different size ear gels so the large size seem to fit me well. Now I have extra ear gels. The volume & play button only works on Apple products so I am not to enthused about those features. There is no option presently in the rugged ear phone options that will work with my MP3 play & Android phone, Klipsch does make the S4A but they come with a shorter and more skinny cord just like the S4 I previously owned. So since I cannot get full use out of the ear phones and for the price [$] + tax I have to settle for these currently. Overall The sound is good but will have to wait to truly see if the durable quality is there. I own other Klipsch products for my home and they work very well. That's the reason why I am even giving these S5i a chance.
