It had a hard time connecting under windows 7 but it did it after a few tries.
It doesn't always maintain connection to the point where you have to pull the AE2500 out and put it back in to the USB port.
Also, sometimes it will hang the PC up to the point of having to reboot it.

Other Comments: I had high hopes to use this in my home office to get better network performance for my laptop that didn't have wireless N capability. But my laptop couldn't even detect it during installation. Apparently I have one too many walls between it and the network box in my kitchen (which can't be moved). My laptop and other devices find the network just fine from anywhere in the house but the receiver in this unit is clearly weak.
