The last one lasted aboout 20 years and was a super tool before that I had the origional leatherman tool. it is interesting to see how they have improved things over the years. When I lost my last one I felt like I couldn't fix any thing I'm so used to just grabbing my leatherman that is always on my belt when something needs fixed it drove me nuts waiting for the new tool to arrive. These tools last a long time and you would be amaized how many things you can fix with it. As a mechanic other mechanics laugh at because I can fix so many cars with a pocket knife.
