For its larger size, it is about the same weight as the WAVE or the BLAST. For my preference, I ended up buying a second tool, the BLAST because of its smaller size. Really like that the Super Tool 300 has replaceable blades for wire cutting though, that should be standard on all models. Only (MINOR) con with it, brand new, the inner tools are so hard to get out, nothing a little oil and WD-40 can't fix though. As well as opening and closing the tools when u have spare time.
