Crater c33T Cutting Knife
(LM860211)
Pros: Phosphor bronze washers for smooth action
Blade shape, size, and geometry are perfect for every day tasks
Blade is big enough to be useful, but is not intimidating around non-knife users
Thumb stud for one hand opening
Blade launcher for optional method of opening.
Blade locks open for safety.
Handle is very comfortable.
Pocket clip is attached with 3 screws into brass fittings instead of just being screwed into plastic
420HC steel blade takes a razor edge and is easy to maintain
Screwdrivers fit most common sizes of phillips and regular screws
Caribiber clip is handy and also is a bottle opener.
Cons: Left-handed people will not be able to use the thumb stud...it is for right-handed people,
however, the blade launcher will work for right or left-handed people.
Blade launcher takes some practice to completely open blade in one flick.
Other Comments: I am 62 years old and have collected and used knives since I was 8 years
old. I carry and use Chris Reeve Sebenza's,Spyderco Militaries,
Delica's, Stretch's,Police model, Al Mar Sere's, Buck 110's, Opinels,
various Victorinox Swiss Army knives. etc.
I am very impressed with the Crater series of knives. To be made in
the US and have all the features and materials at such a reasonable
price they are, in my opinion, one of the best buys for the dollar in the
knife industry.
The blade size, shape, and geometry is perfect for everyday chores. The
ergonomics of the handle are likewise perfect. And the 420 HC steel
takes a razor edge and is easy to maintain.
The Crater series of knives offer a quality product at a very affordable
price.
Yes, I recommend this product
