Other Comments: The hot plate on my coffee maker is not hot enough to keep the coffee in the metal pot hot enough. Your Hot Plate on a low setting is the perfect solution.

Other Comments: I bought this so I could easily cook with low heat, it has very good control at the low end of it's heat range. My gas range puts out too much heat for some needs. the cord could be longer; it's just long enough for my use but others might find it just a bit short.
