By John on November 09, 2010
Review submitted for Mack Three Year D.O.P.Television/Projector Bulb Replacement Warranty Certificate*1065 (MKTVBULB)
Pros:
Cons: They just won't answer me
Other Comments: Mack told me they would answer me 'the next day'. It has been 3 months and I tried to contact them many times. I am ignored. If you enjoy this kind of treatment then buy this warranty.

1 out of 5 stars   Steer Clear! Not worth your money!!

Review submitted for Mack Three Year D.O.P.Television/Projector Bulb Replacement Warranty Certificate*1065 (MKTVBULB)
Pros: none
Cons: Useless, Expensive, Rip-off
Other Comments: DO NOT BUY! First off, they require you to purchase this warranty in conjunction with their other warranties. Which is complete [*]. This is a complete rip off. They won't just cover your television under one warranty, Mack Camera makes you buy a warranty for each part of the TV. A DLP TV is mainly a bulb and a color wheel! I have a 50" Samsung DLP, and the bulb burned out. I bought a new bulb from a reputable online retailer [...] for $120, and they credited me back $20 when I mailed my burned out bulb for recycling [...]. A bulb will easily last you over 4 years for heavy users. Most of my friends without children have had theirs for 5-6 years and going. We have 3 kids, so the TV is on more often than if only adults were home.STEER CLEAR of Mack Camera Warranties of any kind. They seem to find any loophole to avoid providing you service. Be cautious of any warranties that require coverage of different parts. If it's not one comprehensive warranty, DO NOT BUY IT!!
